National Wellness Month—August—only lasts 31 days. However, shouldn’t wellness and self-care be a priority throughout the year? Live Love Spa started Wellness Month to get people thinking about how much more people can accomplish personally and collaboratively when they put well-being, fitness, premium skin care, nutrition, and stress management front and centre.
The 2024 edition of the media–influencer–buyer–content creator event showcased products and modalities for use in spa services and companion items to maintain and extend the results at home. Yoga, sound bath sessions, and seminars on nutrition, skin care, and non-alcoholic spirits were also on the event’s “spa menu”.
Hudson Loft in downtown Los Angeles was the epicentre for fans of internationally familiar brands like Image Skincare, Skin Moderne, Phytomer, QMS Medicosmetics, Hydrafacial, and Circadia. Guests could sign up for mini-spa treatments by these premium brands but also intriguing indie brands such as Causemedic, Dazzle Dry, Elia Parfum, Vital Body, Knesko, and All Moringa.
Natura Bisse’s popular pop-up Pure Oxygen Bubble was among the highlights, where attendees could experience one of the Spanish prestige brand’s facial treatments. Between treatments, guests attended wellness workshops, including a yoga session hosted by Dancing with the Stars veteran Lindsay Arnold and celebrity nutritionist Kim Shapira. Attendees also had an opportunity to test out the latest offerings by leading beauty brands including Coola, Eminence, Pure Fiji, Comfort Zone, Jane Iredale, and Voya.
If there was any takeaway—beyond the many products and the uplifting experiences of trying out the latest spa tools and furniture—it is that we should make it a point to live our best lives through self-care, giving us that extra push to build our careers, raise a family, further our education, create new ideas, and nurture our bodies.
